About me

I am a Lebanese.. born and raised in Sierra Leone West Africa.
Both my parents were born in Sierra Leone too. I am the second of five brothers. During my childhood sometimes my father use to introduce us to people by numbers, by saying "this is number 1 or 2" etc.. I love my parents and brothers dearly.

Our story in Sierra Leone began around the late 1930's, although, they were other Lebanese whom have been there for over decades, this resulted during the first world war when many Lebanese were refusing to join the French army, so many left for Africa and Latin America.

When my late grand father left the shores of Beirut Lebanon together with a large group of people whom were sailing to Marseille France and afterwards to the West African Coast of Sierra Leone in the capital "Freetown" where he settled and started a new business trading in garments.

Sierra Leone is a beautiful Country, located on the west coast of Africa, between the 7th and 10th parallels north of the equator. Sierra Leone is bordered by Guinea to the north and northeast, Liberia to the south and southeast, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

The climate is tropical, with two seasons determining the agricultural cycle: the rainy season from May to November, and a dry season from December to May, which includes harmattan, when cool, dry winds blow in off the Sahara Desert and the night-time temperature can be as low as 16 C (60.8 F). The average temperature is 26 C (78.8 F) and varies from around 26 C (78.8 F) to 36 C (96.8 F) during the year.
